Anyway to make a NEW custom item?

Is there anyway to edit item.xml, and make like a New item. with example ID: 666666?

I don't want to edit existing items, such as boots of haste, since I'm making new boots.

Yes, draw it with Photoshop. 32x32. It's called Sprite. You'll need custom client btw Hope it helped

I didn't meant to make a sprite, and I'm good in graphics, so I know what a sprite is but I meant creating a new item, and giving it a custom ID.
becuase when I edit item.xml, and I create a new item with ID 66666 or w/e, it's not found.

Hmm im sorry for posting this late but i saw what you said here...
you cant choose what ever id you want...
you need to first create a .spr file and add your picture there, then make a .dat file... its kind of hard to explain cause its long but go here: http://otland.net/f479/how-make-own-items-30-pictures-full-explain-74873/ and theres an easy way to do it
and one thing i did wrong first time... dont forget that if you wanna play with your new items online with other players they need to download your new .spr and .dat file otherwise they will get debug when your new items appear :S
