Astoria - The Darkness
Astoria the darkness is the first chapter of its history. Set in a medieval fantasy universe.
Players begin their adventure in a small town ransacked by the evils that have plagued Astoria.
Even your fate was sealed long ago while destiny awaits your return.
General Information
The game is wrapped around the idea that players actions should make a difference.
You can decide which path you want to follow and the game will react accordingly.
It is also very important that the environment is as interactive as possible.
Another goal for the game is stability in all aspects.
Cheating, Currency, Community, and Development are crucial topic of focus.
Extreme focus on RPG PVE which means more real world-like consequences for PVP.
Systems
Interactive Environment (Map, Npcs, Monsters, Agriculture, ect.)
Instance System
Character Stats (Instead of skills)
New skills (Crafting, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Alchemy, Runemaking, Cooking, and more)
New food system (WoW/tibia mix style food system. Foods can give different buffs, heal instant, or overtime, ect.)
Skill Trees (WoW-style but a bit of a twist)
World Events, Community Events, Map Triggers, World Bosses, Raids
Character Titles and Descriptions
Nobility/Wickedness System
Vocation overhaul (Doesn't feel like a class system more like a real world life)
Pet system
(Will update with more)
Team Information
I am looking for anyone willing to help with:
All coding is done by me. I have put a lot of time into the games code already.
Any work would not be paid until if/when the game generates revenue.
I can also do any of the jobs listed so you wouldn't be doing all the work alone
in any case.
I don't except anyone to reply to this but I have been working a long time
alone on this project and just wanted to throw it out there.
