Hello guys,
Yesterday my friend bought dedicated server for OTS.
And now we trying to understand unix systems. I'm total newbie in this kind of systems.
He bought Ubuntu Desktop 8.04.
What i have done:
- install php5, mysql, phpmyadmin from repos. sinaptec.
My questions is:
1. How i can setup:
- php4 (i'm not sure that the Unnamed AAC by Gesior will be work on php5)
- how to change password to phpmyadmin
- how to add alias, domain and subdomains to our server.
- how to add ftp account for each of users (mapper, scripter etc.)
2. OTS
I think i can handle with this. But some questions:
This OTS was before on other ded server. I downlaod all files (include this strange xD makefile etc.)
Now... must i compilling OTS once again?
I have never do this before do please dont be angry...mad... on me.
