I downloaded a distro on my laptop and took the folder to my desktop computer on my flash drive.

When it got to my desktop, it could not transfer from the flash drive to the computer because "program is already in-use". So I changed the extension (.exe) (because all of my icons have an extension after them [mandatory for some reason], and copied it in as The Forgotten Server.ex - When it was placed in the folder, I changed it back to .exe - The correct extension.

And the icon (sword or whatever) didn't appear on my computer, like it did my laptop. I also get the warning:

Windows cannot access the specific device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item.

The folder on the right is the Forgotten Server, the one that works. (Not the distro I want :(). The one to the left is the distro I do want to work, but The Forgotten Server.exe does not work.

Thanks for your help, looking forward to it. If you have any questions please ask.

Edit: Using Windows XP - I am running under system administrator.
