COD MD2 Problem

Hello.

I have a big problem. I've contacted both steam and activision customer help, their very slow at responding. I have been waiting for a week now~

My problem is:
When I try to start COD MD2 a pop up comes up, "It appears that Modern Warfare 2 did not quit properly the last time it ran. Do you want to run it in safe mode?"

I've tried both Safe mode and Normal mode.
I've re-installed the game 5 times and re-downloaded it 3 times.
It isn't working.

System Info:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16 GHz 3.17 GHz
RAM memory: 4,00 GB
Operating system: Windows Vista (Home) 64bits
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

It worked when I downloaded a cracked version of it (Single Player).
But when I decided to pay 60 bucks to get a multi player version of it (trough Steam) it fucks up. (Yes I un-installed the cracked version).

Please help. Tell me if you need any more information.

Where has you download That maybe that is problem (Maybe Bug COD M2 from the site/software)

I use Window 7 (64 Bit system) Use Run as Admin and i think that game is not for 64 bit system

I have 64 bit system too i am using Window 7 64 bit system

I think That game donsn´t exit ^^^

where has you download that?

you can download that from other place and try if that works if that
work maybe thats is problem

I downloaded it trough fucking steam? I've said that 2 times?
Steam is the one that sells it?

Where could I els download it?...

Have you tried installing all cod patches? Older/newest nvidia drivers? Vista Service Packs?

That would make any difference at all.

Ont, I have the same problem, but I havent updated steam for 3 months. Try update the steam client
 
Steam is updated and my operating system is updated.
How does my operating system matter when I already told you that it worked on a cracked version?
....
 
When re-installing it. (This worked when Counter Strike 1.6 fucked up) You have to remove the folder from the steamapps folder before reinstalling...
 
I tried like evrything and i looked around and tried to find something in google but i cant find :/
