OtLand [Competition] OtLand logo

I know, and I feel sorry for the 8th art competition. I know it failed but this time, this competition is more creative and hopefully more active.

This competition consist on making a new logo for OtLand. Yes, the image below Affiliates list on the top.

The winner will get the image used as OtLand's official logo, and a three month donator subscription.

The image has to...
  • be the same size as the image given below.
  • be based on the one we have provided.
  • be in Graphics Interchange Format (.gif).
  • contain the text "OtLand".

Have you remembered to set an anti\alias ? (making it less pixelated and more smooth thick crisp and \ or sharp ?

Axel, your ones does really match to the theme... The word "land" is really being shown up ;)

This is my first attempt but ive been told that the text isnt clear enough any ideas, for improvement?

Second try: i already had anti aliasing as told below but gimp has a different options such ans hinting and forced hinting, which gave the effect that looked like it wasnt antialiased. theres still somethinig wrong with it tho :S

We are giving some more time so you can work on your logo, hurry up because the voting poll might be started soon. (Al logos posted here will be taken, we won't accept more logos as soon as the thread its closed)

Thank you all for your contribution(s), I can now agree with Jester that the current logo can be replaced after seeing how better it could look! Thread closed, the voting will be taken care of later today by the staff members and the donators.
