Hello, I'm really newb in OpenTibia and I have a question that might sound stupid:

What is the use of compiling sources andwhat are they?

I saw many tutorials about compiling latest sources of some servers but I was asking why compile them, what are they? So can you answer please?

You can better look in the Distrubutions section if you want to start a OT server, in that section are 100% done servers ready to use !
