Connection time out on localhost

I recently upgraded to TFS 0.3.6, I did a full directory update also. However when I login with localhost, or 127.0.0.1, the character list loads, but when connecting to game world I get a connection time out error.

But remote players can connect to the game world perfectly fine... Whats going on here?

Things I've checked:

-Blocked ports (I even shut the firewall off for a sec to try)

I have the same problem, and I've been searching around the forums now for over 2 hours, still haven't find anything helpful. Just people who's telling people to open port 7171 / 7172 / 80. If they put the global IP in the config, etc. But still, it does not work. It's like the gamePort is closed eventhough it's not.

Have you found a solution for the problem yet?

i did find a solution, i put my local ip address in the ip changer (which in my case was 192.168.0.106) and it worked.

i did the same thing but it still needs no be port forwarded right so people can connect already found a solution for that?cause im having the same problem. ty reply fast ppl(thanks in advance)

This error is mostly because there is a bad ip-address in the config file.
If you use your outside ip in the config you should use the local network ip when you wanna connect yourself.
