Database Issues

Hello, I have been experiencing database issues using latest revision of trunk. (This also happened with older versions). It has something to do with the IP in the bans database, then it says MYSQL ERROR and stops anything database related working for the server. I have to restart it to fix it. I know without an error this is probably hard to fix, so I should have one tomorrow. I have posted this before getting the exact error because I guess someone may have encountered a similar problem.

Also, I have randomly been getting "MYSQL ERROR: disconnected during query.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you're using TFS trunk, it's just in pre-alpha stage and we do not recommend using it for serious use. However the "MYSQL ERROR: disconnected during query." would be related to the database system and I don't think we've changed anything there so it would happen in OpenTibia too and should be reported to the OpenTibia developers. A solution would probably be to send somekind of keep-alive message to the MySQL server before executing a query.

With keep-alive messages to the MySQL databse he means you should keep sending querys like, insert in table, or baning someone <.<
