As the topic says i got a question about dedicated server on LINUX...

At moment im working on my real tibia map project and im interested for a dedicated server Based on Linux, the problem is that many my friends are telling me that its not possible to host a OT on a linux Its only possible to Host it on Windows...

So my question is, DOes they got right? Is it avaible to host a ot on a linux?

If yes then please write me how to do that and what do i need for it since i heard that Linux is the best for hosting an ot.

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to, but it would be more technical to get it working, and you would good knowledge about Linux, which I unfortunetely dont have.

There are Unix based OT servers out there, so yes it is possible. However to use the standard TFS (or standard any server to be honest) on a Linux server, you would need DOS emulator program running on your server also (OT servers run in a DOS environment).
