Dev-C++ with Ubuntu compatibility?

Is there any way you can compile a Dev-C++ project on Windows, that would be runable on an unmodified version of Ubuntu?

lol on *nix systems there is a compiler called gcc wich is for me the best compiler ever made, just follow the tutorial wich is on one of the DOCS inside your TFS

Yeah I know, just wondered. Can't see why there shouldn't be a cross-os compiler though.
