Disney is paying $4.05 billion to buy Lucasfilm Ltd., the production company behind "Star Wars," from its chairman and founder, George Lucas.
It's also making a seventh movie in the "Star Wars" series called "Episode 7," set for release in 2015, with plans to follow it with Episodes 8 and 9 and then one new movie every two or three years.

Disney also owns ABC, Pixar, Marvel, and ESPN.

Well-known movies that involved Disney:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- National Treasure
- TRON Legacy
- Marvel Movies (Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, ect)
- Bunch of animations (UP, Toy Story, Tangled, ect)

Questions bring, WHAT will be in episode 7?
If you look here: Sith - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki
You will notice there is a ton of Sith stories that have not been told, especially the ones after Palpatine's rule.
Do you think they will go back to the very early times of the Sith or start after Palpatine's death.

What do you think about this?

Prepare for shitty songs in Star Wars... I'm not happy bout this. So long as they stick clear of cartoon like animation etc then hopefully I'll consider watching it, the Sith stories sound more interesting the the others :D

Shouldn't this be in multimedia?

Anyway, I think it's a good thing actually. Disney was founded on some great principals and can do some good with this. I believe Star Wars could be continued upon.

Curious to see what unfolds... ;)

I think Star wars era ended already.. would be interesting to see a new one though.

I hope that they don't ruin the saga, but this is awesome! maybe a prequel in the age of darth plaeguis, darth malak, darth nihilius... omg I can't wait :D

Disney sees a way to generate even more profit off a legendary series. Although who knows how it will turn out. Let's hope they don't ruin it.

I love Star Wars so I hope they do a good job of making newer ones. I also hope, like episodes 1,2,3 there are more Jedi floating around.

I'm now kinda hoping they totally slaughter it just for the sake of the reactions. On the other hand... they might not need to, some die-hard fans always want to stick to the older version of things and will hate the new one no matter what...
