Documentation related to the source code of OpenTibia

Hello everyone, me and a group of people are trying to fork OpenTibia.
The problem is that we're not really advanced programmers and we have very little experience relating to Game coding. We would like to learn nonetheless but it would be nearly impossible to do without some kind of guide indicating the diferent functions of each .cpp and .h
If anyone would be so kind as to send us a link that could explain the different processes of the game, or just give us some tips, it would be greatly appreciated

Unforutantely there is very little documentation about the internal mechanics of the game server. The scraps that you find in the sources are probably the most you're going to get. On a sidenote: OpenTibia has had little attention for quite some time and there's probably a lot more work being done in TFS.
