if you're spending the proceeds solely on server upkeep, and hosting then no.

but we all know this is never the case. (yeah, what you're planning on doing is illegal.)

you can have a donation system, no problem. but if you're planning on selling items/exp, etc for points and using the proceeds for your personal benefit, and not spending 100% of it on the improvement of the server + hosting, then yes it's illegal.


selling in-game benefits on an open-tibia server is not a donation system, it is reselling copyrighted material and profiting causing CIPsoft a loss of revenue. (all open-tibia servers with "donation" systems that are no doubt online currency shops should be sued)
