I'm wondering, if there some kind of exp stages?

A friend of mine is a 39h stamina, and he's getting 90k exp on a demon. (He's lvl 233)

I'm lvl 273, and I'm just getting 30k exp on a demon?!

That's 60k exp less, just from 40 lvls?!

UPDATE!: Another friend and I are both lvl 274 now! And he gets 30k from a Fury, and I only get 20k exp. How's that possible?!

yeah its exp stages as you get a higher lvl the exp rates go down
and you got extra 50% exp from the stamina until 40h or 41h
