The tar wouldnt be that close to the ocean and those green plants do not accent the tar, try another plant with dull colors. also try bunching the trees up instead of placing them out evenly and add a hint of grass.

If you're operating on like 8.6+ you may have dried grass, Basically the same as the green grass tufts but yellow and looks better in dead zones
