Fights/confrontations, how do you handle them?

Ive actually been arrested twice for assault earlier so im trying to stay out of fights since if i get caught again the punishment wont be nice as nice as it was earlier.

Im usually a very calm guy, but once a fight start it always ends very bad.

Gangs are nothing serious. They gather together because they're scared of being beaten alone. If you can take out two or three of them quick enough, most of the rest will pussy out.

The problem where I live is that if you beat someone down (the guys who love to start fights) he will come back for payback another day, maybe with a gang.

It would be lovely if it simply would be over when the fight is over and no hard feelings xD
