It is in experimenta mode, and it looks great, please complete it <3

Just use xenFracture_fluid I think it will look better than flexile when it's fully complete.

We plan to get a good "dark" layout once XenForo2 is out and we can upgrade to it. It doesn't make sense to work on a layout now when everything is expected to change technically soon.

Nobody knows what themes will be available/compatible with XF2.
