There are two types of offers:
Sell offer: Player is offering items
Buy offer: Player is searching for items
Both, premium and free players can use the market and accept offers but only premium players can submit buy and sell offers in the market.
The market is available in every depot in every city.
Q: What items are sellable via the market?
A: Generally almost all takeable items are sellable, except the following:
corpses
money
books, scrolls, documents ect. inscribed by players
filled liquid containers
items with an expire date (for example magical torch)
in-use items (for example soft boots that are not full 100% or amulets that are not fully charged anymore)
Q: Is there any fee if I submit an offer?
A: Yes. Each offer will cost 1% of the total price but not more than 1000 gps and at least 20 gps.
Q: How do I pay?
A: The money will be automatically taken from your bank account. If you do not have enough money in the bank you will not be able to buy or sell any item.
Q: What happens with the money during a buy offer?
A: The money will be locked and is not useable during the offer.
Q: If I am the seller, how will I receive the money?
A: If someone has accepted your offer the money will be automatically sent to your bank account immedieatly.
Q: How do I receive the item after I bought it via the market?
A: The item will be automatically sent to the inbox in the depot you accepted the offer from.
Q: How does it work with the item? Where do I have to put the items I want to sell?
A: The items have to be in your depot of the city you submit the offer from.
Q: What happens with the items during a sell offer?
A: The items will be locked and be taken from your depot. If you do not sell it, it will be sent back to your depot inbox once the offer has ended.
Q: During an offer the offered item is locked. Does this item still count regarding the depot limit?
A: No, it doesn't.
Q: Are world trades possible with the market?
A: No. There is one market for each game world.
Q: Can i cancel any open offer?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I change my pending offers?
A: No. If you want to change the price or the amount of your offer you have to cancel it and submit a new one.
Q: How long does an offer last?
A: If it is not cancelled by the provider nor accepted by a customer it lasts for 30 days.
Q: How many items may one offer include?
A: An offer is limited to a maximum of 64.000 items (for example: Offer: Selling/buying 64.000 serpent swords). Please note that a stack of items, for example 64 fish fins, counts as one item.
Q: If the sell offer is 2000 iron ores, do I have to buy all of them?
A: No, you can buy one, 50 or all 2000. It is up to you how many items of an offer you buy.
Q: What if I offer a stack of items? Do I offer the piece price or the total price?
A: In the stand-alone client the submitted price is always the price per piece.
A: In the Beta Flash client you can choose between entering a total price or a price per piece.
Q: How many offers can I submit at once?
A: You can have up to 100 open offers at the same time.
Q: Does the market work for both clients?
A: Yes.
Q: What will happen with the items in my locker after the update?
A: All items will be automatially moved into your depot chest.
Q: Does the market work for Rookard as well?
A: Since there is no depot on Rookard, no.

A: No. There must not be any pending offers on your account if you want to move from one world to another.
