Healing spells and sources for the vocations that received a health buff, we're nerfed based on the % of health they gained. This is so the sustain they have is still the same, however their max health pool is now larger. This includes all healing spells and also lifeleech perks, this does not apply to gems.

Feat System Released
Soon we will be releasing our new Feat System. Feats are something you will be able to obtain every 50 awakening levels. There will be over 30 different feats that any class can select from and in any order. These feats are another way to further uniquely create your character and how your character will play out in the world of Archlight. Every 50 Awakening Levels you will be able to speak to a Good and Evil demigod (your choice). He will have a specific task or quest for you to complete, by completing it you will receive the ability to select a Feat. Based on the demigod you select, you will have access to a different list of Feats to select from. This will of course be retroactive as well, so if you are Awakening 300, you will have access to 6 Feat Quests.
Some example feats below (numbers are subject to change)
Blood Sense - Extra 1% lifesteal from lifestealing abilties or attacks
Mana Drain - Regen 1% mana from spell casts
Arcane Fairy- After casting a spell, there is a 25% chance a fairy will throw a magic missile at the target dealing damage based on your power.
Cursed Touch - Auto attacks have a 10% chance to deal damage every second for 3 seconds
Expert Negotiator - Receive 10% extra gold from selling items
Pillager - 5% chance to get an additional box from a quest/dungeon
Expansion to City - New Houses, New Guildhalls

Misc + Bug Fixes
Map Support for the Feat System added, we are very busy testing and fine tuning the system before we add it, adding the map support means we wont have to reboot to make the feat system live. We are hard at work to implement it while also making sure to do strict bug testing before releasing.
You can now exchange Reforged Mastercrafted Weapons with weapon exchange tokens. You will not be able to exchange the goldencrafted or mastercrafted due to the experience attached to the equipment.
Revenge Skull System Removed - It has been non-stop headache for our team, it seems half the community thinks it should behave one way, and half the community the other way, additionally, it constantly has new bugs being involved in it. We have simply removed the system as, to be honest, it really isn't the important.
Fix has been made to the Hemorage T2 Enchantment improperly applying 2x damage.
Armor Scaling has been removed from Greater Dungeons, making some bosses incredibly tanky (not only hp, but now armor for no reason).
Using firebombs/field runes to prevent spawning of creatures in one of the Arena's has been fixed.
Precision slice will now properly apply resistance for the berserker
Fixed a bug where some guild owners couldn't also have their own house.
Soulhunter Backpack will now give +power.
Threat Meters of bosses will now also be displayed in the battle menu.

The Lake of Sarandiel Event

Sarandiel the Water Goddess has blessed Archlight with her presence, by opening up a portal to her sacred lake. She has opened up the portal as she needs the help of players, she has been badly hurt from defending her home against Dragons from the Forgotten Islands, to heal her she requests goddess herbs, these can be obtained by completing dungeons and events while the event is open (For 2 weeks from release). In exchange, she will offer you several different items for your help, including 2 New Pairs of Wings, that each boast +25% movement speed from normal wings (same as the Royal Wings, but stronger than normal wings), 3 new outfits (Pharaoh, Herbalist and Trophy Hunter), multiple usable items and 2 new companions from her lake. (Oh, and yea, we have sky environments now.)

Emoji System Added
This is something we wanted to add long ago, however due to complications and test restraints, its something that was pushed off. Well. We added it. Yikes.
Players will now have access to dozens of different emojis, all of the basic ones will be free, however we will have 10 that are in the Arch Shop as they are "extra spicy" emotes. We plan to add more unique emotes in the near future as well.
Emoji's are triggered by simply saying the standard emoji phrase with nothing in the same line
For example, an emoji would not trigger by you saying "How are you today :)?", to trigger it, you would simply type :) - this is so emoji's arn't triggered when people dont want them to be.
Additionally a list of all emoji's can be found by saying !emoji

The Kraken World Boss + Kraken Set added to Forgotten Islands
The Kraken has a random 4 day interval spawn time. The Kraken will also drop a precursor to a Boss Armor Set called Kraken Armor. Kraken armor is stronger and more powerful than reforged mastercrafted armor however requires reforged mastercrafted armor to complete. The Kraken will drop the precursor called damaged kraken armor, which can be made complete by sacrificing reforged mastercrafted armor.

We have added 17 more power tiers to the solo dungeon boxes, and 12 more power tiers to the team dungeons boxes
Boss Dusts Reworked
Quest Equipment now can be disenchanted into Quest Dust.
This dust will be used in many different crafts (as the boss dusts we're supposed to), however they will now properly apply based on the dust you have as well several other recipes will now include them. Extra quest equipment (Darksteel weapons, armors, Sharptooth weapons, etc) will now be able to be disenchanted into something useful.

The experience gained from crafting Ring of the Skies has been nerfed by 35%.

The main difference between this OT and different OT is that you guys actually communicate with others about how shit is progressing n stuff. Watch for Deathzot, how they put up 2 updates in 1 era which are mediocre and then dont answer on any thread or PM for 8 months & then wipe the server. I like the Professionalism and will play once I have more time :) great progress form what this seemed at first and kept me away turned into a gem i guess.
 
Hey guys! So I thought i'd take a minute to update you guys on currently what our team is working on, and our planned flow of upcoming content!

So the past few days our team has really been focusing on overall bug fixes, quality of life improvements and adding depth to current existing systems. This is our primary focus for the next at least week. However, of course, our mappers are hard at work developing new content, as well as our animators! Below is a bit of insight into our upcoming plans and releases, so you can see what we're currently working on and what's coming soon!

These are in order of our planned release order :) (We no longer include dates unless we are 99% certain on them, as if we miss a projected date, or add more to a specific patch and delay by a day, people Reee)
Everything below is 100% subject to change..

1. Bug Fix Patch - Monday - This will include fixing the sharptooth quest, fixing dozens of minor map bugs reported, adding a Feat Reset Token, and adding Power Rating to the new Trinkets.

2. Client Functionality Improvement + Content Patch - 3 New Solo Dungeons Added, 5 New Ritual Lords Added. Solo dungeons will now randomly give you you a dungeon when you queue, Another World Boss Added to Forgotten Islands (The Weaponmaster), 2 Tiers of new weapons added to Forgotten Islands (Dropped by the Weaponmaster). Grips released for 2h Weapon Users.

3. Content Patch - Forgotten Island 4 released.

4. Content Patch - Castle Sieges and Node Wars released. Lumberjacking and Woodworking released (Forgotten Islands Only Professions - Used to create siege weapons and defense structures) 3 MORE new solo dungeons added, 6 new greater dungeons added, 3rd Forgotten Islands World Boss released.

WHat are you talking about? :p Deathzot is probably one of the most Unfinished ot's I experienced in last era. Lets ignore the fact that the endgame is bullshit and the ironman thing was dumb in the first place, they have a ton to work on and Shawn just moved and synth said they would update us once hes done this was MONTHS ago. they are nice guys but I would never call them good "runners" of an ot. Excellent programmers etc tho.

Appreciate the kind words about our project :) but let's not make this a bashing deathzot thread, we work hard to set the new standard, and we feel were doing a good at that

Client Windows Overhauled
We have put alot of time into making more aesthetically pleasing in-game windows for commonly used windows such as Dungeon Finder, Stats, Highscores, Menu, and will be adding more functionality to the Quest Window, as well as adding a large and functional Guild Management Panel. For this patch, we will be attempting to have all in and configured, however our main focus is in order of how we listed them and some may not make it until a patch after.

Grips Added for 2h Vocations

We have added a new weapon type called Grips or Bracers. Grips will be used by any two-handed weapon user in their offhand. These will behave slightly different from dual wielding, in that despite them having an attack value, they will not attack, instead, their attack value is added onto the main weapon.
Due to this, all 2 handed weapons have had their attack value reduced by 50%, as the other 50% will come from Grips.
We added grips as a way to balance out the extra investment rogues and corsairs have had to make to play their vocation at a par with the 2h weapon users. This means all vocations will now have 2 different "weapons" to upgrade. Grips however will not be enchantable, as they do not "hit" a target. Rogues and Corsairs will remain having a slightly larger required investment into enchantments, however they still benefit from a 10% higher chance to proc each enchantment.
Berserkers, Archers, Mages and Guardians will use grips. Because of this, grips will be 2x likely to drop from reward boxes such as darksteel, iceforged, etc.
Weapon types are now limited to their vocation.
Quest Broadcaster Added
We have recoded the quest broadcaster, it will now be 100% functional and more seamless. This will allow players to broadcast to recruit additional players either to help with their quest, or as a paid quest service.
New Scaling Formula to Awakening Turnin Items
We have restructured the formula to be a much more indepth and complex formula for the awakening turnin experience of items. It will now scale MUCH better at every point in the game, making them very relevant for any point in the game, whether awakening level 7 or 700.
New Boss Mechanics Added (that target ranged players) To:
Awakened Cassandra, Awakened Sharptooth, Darksteel Cryptlord, Sharptooth, Cassandra (Voodoo Quest).
This is something we wanted to add for awhile now, but essentially we have added ranged boss mechanics that will target "outer circle" players such as Archers and Casters, forcing them to also dodge boss mechanics like melee players.
Awakened Sharptooth and Hideout Quest Released
These quests have a 3 day cooldown with a Tier 5 Quest Box.
Quality of Life Changes
You can now start a conversation with an NPC simply just right clicking them (This is actually already live)
Hover over items to view, rather than having to "look" at them and it appear in the chat.
Misc Changes
Solo Dungeons now randomly give you a dungeon.
Kraken Tentacle health buffed by 800%, Kraken Tentacle Spell Radius' increased by 50%.
Kraken armor will now be used similar to a prismatic token to enhance reforged mastercrafted equipment into Kraken Armor, keeping it's regrade and rarities.
Lord of the Elements rift removed from rifts.

Yea you were banned today from the discord I remember, so I generally expect a rage post and that's understandable.
I like that you compare us to hexera? Like the ones that also have bots and dont ban the use of them like hexera. Of course their player count will fluctuate higher than other ots lol.

This is also why on our posts on here and our website we only use unique daily logins, not total or concurrent :)

Otservlist can investigate us anytime they want like the 5 other times they have In the past :)

Each of these 4 amulets initiate a series of 4 quests to the user. Reaping Amulets will reward the user with either Legendary Archlight Keys, or Regular Archlight Keys for Minor Reaping Amulets upon completion of each quest.
Oblation and Minor Oblation Amulets will evolve from a statless amulet into a powerful necklace after completing all 4 of the required quests and become usable.
After completing any of the quest chains for any of the four amulets, you will also receive a trade-able unique companion token.

We're an Evo Server :p
If you dont like an Evo type server, I recommend you find a non-evo based server. Most of our playerbase prefers Evo based servers :p
