Most ots without bot dying.

Peoples want to reach high level but who would like to exp by himself for around 8 hours or something? Noone.

Without this "P2W" thing the ot wouldnt be that big as it is atm ( U think the mappers and programmers etc doing that job for free? XD )

We have made big strides further improving our ArchLauncher, a new version has been released on the website, simply uninstall your old one and install the new one (in the near future, we will also be giving away free points and codes via our launcher :)

Improvements to New Launcher
-Changed default installation directory to Local App Data folder for preventing administrator right issues (where hitting play after updating would not do anything, and other issues)
-Fixed problems with client not opening/working due to wrong read/write/administrator permissions
-Faster unzipping of new client downloads​
 
Can u just make an unbottable command to activate ur boosts ? Its so annoyting to have to run to temple for 1 min and u lose ur spot because of that lol If im already not away from my computer i should be able to just activate it... And u have to do it every 30 mins lel

Were adding a medal window for it yes :)
 
Another good hotfix would be to increase the awake exp u get from turning in 1kk. I mean its equal to 2 dungeon medals right now. It should be atleast like 10 dung medals worth of exp = 1kk. So it doesnt make them as valuable as dung medals, but they still count for something

Archlight Siege Wars Released & Changes & Prizes

Archlight (Guild) Siege Wars will open in this Patch. Guilds will have 24 hours to bid to obtain a spot in the Siege War. The first Siege War will occur on September 1st.
Every week, up to 6 guilds will be able to win their share of up to 1050 Euros in In-Game Rewards from Siege Tokens!
We have increased the spending power of Siege Tokens, where siege tokens will be able to be used for Packs of 5 Archlight Keys (1 Token), Legendary Keys (2 Tokens), Random Enchantment Boxes (5 Tokens), Various Regrade Keys, and more to come in the future (Siege Specific Cosmetics, Outfits, Mounts and Aura's).
Minimum Guild average power required lowered to 2000, minimum combined power 20000.

After several full run-throughs, including bug fixes, rebalances, and more, we have reworked guild sieges in dozens and dozens of ways... too many to list. We have fixed dozens of bugs as well. This is a massive event, with many many moving parts. We are working hard, as we do with anything new and ambitious we attempt (like an event this size) and if there are further issues/imbalances, we will of course address them.
Keep in mind. Bombs and Structures are your friend in this event. They're meant to be strong, they're meant to give weak players the ability to contribute just as much in construction and sieging as a strong player.

Clicking the Casino Icon will enter you into the Casino Hub, where you will be greeted by Sharptooth and be able to pick from any of our Casino Games. Currently we only have 2, Blackjack and Roulette, however we will be adding 4 more games within the very near future including Dice Rolling Games and more.
You are able to gamble with two different in-game currencies, Archlight Tokens and Gold.
Refactored Boss Damage Maps
Our damage map for bosses (world bosses, quest bosses, dungeon bosses, etc) has been completely re-done, this will help with issues of where players would randomly not get credit for contributing to a boss (generally healers who did very little damage).
Awakening Stats Max Increased
We have increased the capacity of awakening stats from 50 to 75. This is because as we increase the amount of tiers of content, and the longevity of awakening, the capp has to also be increased (so these stat points arn't irrelevant as players progress).
World Boss Changes
World Bosses (Players will be able to receive more than 1 bag depending on how much they contribute [, sacrificing products]).
Multiple Revamped Spawns!
To keep up with our much larger and growing player base this Era, many well known old spawns have been revampped & expanded! Including the following:
Sand Dusk Scarabs, Ogres, Yeti's, Ancient Dragons and Ancient Tortoises & Ancient Blood Crabs (This will be added as a 1500+ spawn now, and will not be force-spawn (non-botable). These creatures will have a slightly better HP/EXP and HP/Loot ratio than many botable creatures.

Test of Strength Added Back & Changes
Test of Strength NPC Added to Monster Spawn room
Test of Strength will now give you a random task based on your total power rating (this is the highest power your character has had - to ensure people do not abuse this system).

Completing a Test of Strength will reward you with 3 stat points for any stat between 0-40, 2 stats for any stat between 40-80, and 1 stat point for any stat between 80-120. Currently, you cannot use one of these stats for a stat over 120.

You are able to spend 25k * your total base stat points (Not including Awakening Points, Boosted Stat Points - Food, Furniture Buffs, Etc) to reset the 23hr Test of Strength Cooldown Timer instantly.
Monster Essence Buffs & Improvements
Archlight Token Essence added to Monster Essences
Item Essences now will give you a chance to receive a loot item from the creature the essence dropped from, if you collect all bounces of the essence. You are not garanteed an item from their loot table (in addition to the other items you usually get), but it will increase the chance of any item from it's loot table by 10%.
We will likely also be buffing the Gold Essence
With these buffs, we may be slightly reducing loot and gold rating, we are unsure if we will do this, if we do it will be a small amount. This would only be to keep balance with these buffs while also further rewarding the active player over the bot player.
Sliced Fish
The fish turn-in NPC will now allow you to turn in fish for Sliced Fish, at a rate of 1 sliced fish per 5oz of turned in fish. This will round down to the nearest 5oz when turning in.
Sliced Fish will replace the rare specific fish needed for cooking recipes, making cooking fish recipes much easier and less specific.
Bugfixes
Arena Scaling (Bosses had more attack & health than intended).
Enrage Scaling (Bosses dealt less damage after enrage).
Cooking Enhancement (Resulted into abnormal boost durations).
Addon NPC (Correct Comb ID).
Events (Some players were not able to join events).
Regeneration (Some secondary heals never went through).
Magic Fields (Don't allow players to push other players onto fields that deal damage).
Fishing (No longer possible to fish on non-water objects).
Companions (A few companions were unsummonable).
Soul Items (Experience didn't carry over to the new level).
Special Effects (Labelled as Miscellaneous from now on).
Kraken (Increased the number of tentacles to 8 [from 6], and locations where they can appear to prevent players from not taking any damage during the raid).
Dungeons (Added a confirmation window to exit teleports).
Death Protection (Release active DOT's so you cant die after "dying").

Bed Sheets (Return current bed sheet(s) to the player upon leaving/losing a house).

It would be great if wildbosses were limited to 1 person or party at a time. This would be very helpful to those that are f2p and are grinding some stones. There should be some safeguard from a powerful player just getting all of the loot to give a chance for weaker players to advance more.

Was fun while it lasted. Simply took 4-5 days off, come back , and way far behind it seems. No 2k+ power rift PTs anymore. Everyone that does rifts is now 3.5k or more. players already pushing full RMC gear, a little shocking for this early, I understand they have super knowledge of the server, and some have paid thousands of dollars to get ahead, just I dont get from a server thats suppose to have 400+ ACTIVE players is lacking in certain fields that it does right now... it doesnt make sense to me. I come to realize, there is no way 400 active people playing, not possible. Feels like maybe 100 people actually play and are responsive ingame. with 400 people actually playing, chats would be going spam crazy but only about 20 people actually talk in chats. Archlight is fun dont get me wrong, but only if you start at the beginning of a Era, and dont stop, otherwise u fall behind quick. then no one helps, and the top 3 guilds just stick together and dont really help anyone xD

I can predict now the outcome of siege wars.
Ticket to Temple or Cry is Free will win, always. Misfits here and there.

I will wait till next era to play again, at the rate its going it seems players are going to be done before a 6 month time span of this current era, so quicker then the last one. Just what it seems, of course I could be wrong.

Catch up exp was added way to early (and it doesnt really matter anyways, it doesnt change what you can do, just that you get awakening faster but still be stuck to do anything the rush is a bad idea for a new player). I personally saw more people pissed off about catch up exp, was just fine the way it was, catch up was not even needed at the time it was released.. I get you are all about giving every point back that people donate for, but come on, i mean, its called Donating for a reason, people enjoy the content you and your team provide, but to basically give the points back every era, is not needed.... thats the only reason they keep coming back to play archlight is cause of how far ahead they are when a era starts, it ruins it because of the mass amounts of money they donated, and then dictate how your your server turns out cause they paid, so its what they want. I think something should be reworked with how you go abouts giving people their points back every era... maybe not giving people their points back for 2 weeks into the new era or something. thus giving it a fair chance to everyone and not just those people that paid. If players want to get ahead like they do, they can donate at the beginning of the era, or wait 2 weeks to get their points back from last era. Not dump all these points from 3 years of eras, into these accounts. Ofc donating at the start of a era is different, but atleast control giving all these points back to people at the start of eras, wait a little bit.

Sorry knighter i am not meaning to bash you, your staff, or the server... not meaning to sound that way at all, love the content you guys put out, just others ruined the fun for me, and I feel it has alot to do with the whole donating thing... you got people who dont donate and work their asses off (Which i love that you can play archlight without donating a dime..), but then you got these players who donated thousands of USD throughout the years that you are giving points back to, they pay more for their power and to get ahead it totally ruins it for the others. Something needs to be reworked in regards to donations and how you distribute points at the start of every era. Holy guac or Gloryhole or both donated about 10 thousand USD or more, ive heard lol. So for them to get that much back at the start of every era is a little far fetched, im not saying these specific players ruined anything.

Im probably going to get flammed hard for writing what I did, but its my honest opinion, and of course I could be wrong in things.

I really want ur opinion on something. I really love the new update and the era alltogether aswell, but I have a few issues I'd like u to read so I can just know if they ever gonna be improved.

The new essence buff : LOVE IIIIIIT! This is actually pretty awesome since it actually give u incetive to go out and do tasks, farm monsters cuz u can get them juicy essences. BUT this has one big dissadvantage. SINGLE TARGET vocations like archers, rogues, even low dmg like guards, are SO FUCKED. I'm an archer and I have a few RMC items and I see myself stronger than the average folk. BUT my essence farming is sooo baaad noooow, I mean my survivability was shit, my single target was good but MY FARMING was shit, but I was kinda okey with it until I just saw I cant farm essences even 10% that other vocs like zerks/druids/sorc or any other aoe voc can. I'll just change the voc if u think it is good the way it is. SOLUTION: make essences in a party give the same % chance so it doesnt go to the person that deals the most dmg because thats the AOE vocs on MOST monsters, I can get most dmg on 1

the SECOND biggest problem are ALTs. I honestly believe u HAVE to either have old donor points to buy exp items or anything other u like, or u can just make like 10 alts like everyone does > farm solos with them everyday > get shitload of exp items > gg. Also it goes for quests and everything else. I feel like rewards should be better based on ur power(but higher so u cant give ur ALT soulbound gear etc), nothing too drastical but an improvement. Would make quests a bit more interesting for everyone and ALTS not that much of a MUST HAVE.

Also u should make another animation for essences and make them last atleast 5 seconds longer

Also, that thing u said was in developement about us FREE players receiving better rewards on new era based on the time we played. Is that still in?
Btw I was high when I wrote this so sorry if something isn't understandable haha

@Pecax personally my only issue with the server as of right now are that essences only go to the highest dmg so it kind of sucks tasking with a partner because if one is way stronger than the other they will get all the essences. Also 1 thing I wish would be changed is that the Legacy outfits/mounts that give skills and hp/mana become available one way or another for something other than legacy points.
 
@Blinkz Yeah take me as an archer, I can deal dmg do ONE monster the most, and I get an essence every 30 mins which is super lame lol Should be equal chance in a party atleast.. Like yday a sorc got 15kk exp on his item cuz he got like 4 exp essences in ICE

After alot of discussion with many players, staff, and testers, we are making some additional changes to Guild Sieges, Including Increasing The Prizepool To $2500USD/Week, Read More on our Discord or ArchLight Online
 
I mean you should just not do that man, 2.5k a week should go into your staff members ( in case u pay actual cash not ingame stuff) ur doing gods work

Its ingame rewards, as well, staff get paid a very respectable wage :p weve always believed in putting money back into staff first.
 
I hope one day, to see Archlight become its Own game, I know it stems from Tibia but all in all, I hope this day comes :)

P.S It is kind of that way now, but would like to see it not classified as a OT anymore lol.

Getting close, just requires further cashflow into remaking sprites as we have been.
