From Windows to Linux

Hello i know nothing about linux , and i wanted to set up a dedicated, no i just realise every dedi uses linux wich seems/say's beeing better. All though i know nothing about it and all otservs is for windows use ;S is it hard to compling a windows ot serve to a linux.

I downladed ubuntu an tryed to run the file but it didnt work , what might been wrong? how do i tell apart "linux run file from windows"?

really srry for the noob questions im not so high with the coding wich comes with server stuff

owh , not like that system ubunutu is installed hehe , but the tfs server wont work cuz the computer doesn't run the "tfs.exe"

no. You can't mount ".exe" on ubuntu with deamon tools.
