Last season's trailer

Season 6 Highlights

New vocation: Monk - One of the highlights of this season is a brand new vocation, the Monk. Sacred warriors of pure heart, they are capable of causing severe melee damage to their oponents and also healing their allies in close-combat situations. They introduce two new mechanics to the game, being a dual-wielding vocation that uses fast-regenerating energy instead of mana.

Brand new client - This season comes with a large upgrade to the Ruthless Chaos Client, which has been rebuilt from the ground up to provide a more modern play experience. Among the quality of life features it has received are WASD movement controls, a game actionbar, an auto-updater and lots of new customization options.

The season also brings new areas to explore, monsters to fight and lots of new equipment to wear.

Custom vocations

Ruthless Chaos has two fully custom vocations, the Monk and the Shaman.

Monks are close-range fighters that rely on their fists to defeat their foes, and use their divine powers to protect their allies. They can be either damage dealers or support members for their group, both by standing in close range to their enemies. Although they do not have the survivability of a tank, they have abilities that help them stay safe and stand behind their enemies. They use gloves, a new type of weapon that can be dual wielded. They don't use mana as a spellcasting resource, but fast-regenerating energy.

Shamans are a hybrid class able to switch from tanky close-combat fighters to long-range spellcasters. This vocation uses clubs as weapons, and can enchant them with elemental powers. Shamans have mastered the elements of earth and energy. When casting spells from a distance, they have powerful single-target abilities, while in melee combat they are able to deal large amounts of area-of-effect damage.

Profession system

Professions offer a whole new way of upgrading your character in different ways. Blacksmithing focuses on crafting gear to suit up your character for every possible situation. Alchemy allows you to brew long-lasting elixir and short-term effect battle potions, as well as creating inscriptions that summon special creatures to aid you in battle. The newly implemented profession, Jewelry, is based on crafting gems which upgrade your equipment in unique ways. You can read more about the individual professions here.

Dungeons

Dungeons are special quests, designed for groups of 5 players. Along each dungeon, each filled with custom-made monsters, you will find some bosses, which drop special pieces of equipment. These quests require strategy and teamwork, however, the rewards you get out of them are far better.
Every dungeon can be completed by a player as many times he wants.

The Ruthless Chaos / Ragnarok quests

The Ruthless Chaos and the Ragnarok quests are the final challenges of this server. In the Ruthless Chaos quest, you will wander deep into the core of Hell itself, to find and slay the Ruthless Seven, to secure the new human kingdom from the terrible influence of the demons.

Once the Ruthless Seven have been defeated deep in the hellish realm, a completely new storyline is revealed to the players, along with a new final challenge, the Ragnarok quest.

The completion of the Ragnarok quest will mark the end of Season 6, and the team that completed it will etch their names into the immortal scrolls of history.

Expect brutal and dynamic challenges which involve strategy, unwavering teamwork, a competitive team and lots of courage!

Seasons usually last 2-6 months. It depends on how many people play and how fast the progress is.

I used to play there for first season few years ago, Server is very nice for rpg players there is alot of content to do.

Probably the most enjoyable server I have played. Well scripted Bosses and questlines that keeps you occupied for MONTHS.

Looking forward to the next season!

The majority of the community of this server are mostly the same people that play over and over again. It does need new players and newcommers or it will be enjoyable just for a few.

You see, there's a major problem with the way devs made their project, it has some dated cool features that can make the first gameplay days feels good but once you need to progress further, and face real challenges, you will not be able to relly only on YOUR OWN.
And that's the problem!

90% of the main feature of the server is based in team work and most of these dudes that played since the first season, does know 100% of the game secrets, and newcommers will ALWAYS be a step back. Result? You will need to follow their rules, give them the items, need their help, progress on their will, they will find the only one take reward chests first, open the secrets first, and noone in the server will be able to do it just by exploring or so.

I told it to the devs years ago, and didn't received a single honest reply.

Also, for those who don't get what I'm trying to say, PLAY IF YOU WANT, BUT KNOWS THAT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PROGRESS unless you're willing to SWALLOW THE BITTER PILL older players want to force on you.

How I know that? I played since the 2nd season, made more than 40h of youtube content for the server, know all these guys, played with them, received "their help" and as I can see with the teasers and people replying here, they are back and the devs does rely on them to make some profit, which is a shame because they could make this project so much better and even make more profit, with their deserved hardwork, if they'd embrace the bigger community out there, not a small team clique of people.

Your message (while worded a bit harshly to be taken as feedback) speaks truly of a problem we've had for many seasons. We initially went all in on the "cool massive bossfights with lots of players" concept that caused the typical flow of a season be: Two major guilds battle each other for dominance until one loses, then that guild quits and the other one monopolises global server progress.

However, we've been working (for several seasons now) to address this problem. Lots of systems were introduced with the purpose of making small-team or solo play a viable alternative. These include:
  • Blacksmithing as an alterantive way to obtain equipment without killing bosses.
  • Several server progress milestone events (Thaumanur defeat, R7 kills, Ferumbras...) increasing the experience stages of lower level players.
  • Adding bosses that you can only fight alone, and locking key equipment progress behind them.
    • With some examples like the Lizard Prophet solo-boss that are a hard requirement to advance in the story.
  • Alternative Sarlin Society tasks so that no rank advancement requires killing a boss.
  • Lots of smaller systems like sardonyxes, serpent eye fragments etc.
I believe that at this stage of the server, the only hard lock on progress that requires a team is the need to kill Orshabaal to access Hell.

I wonder which the last Season you played was, and if you still believe this is an up-to-date issue.

used to play this, many many years ago. exciting to see you guys are still at it. Major congrats on that and good luck on the new season! I already spread the word a bit for people to try this out

I've been playing this server since the first season and I have never experienced anything like this, even when I started out as a solo player. Ever since we formed a bigger team after a while of playing we helped people out that started off later but wanted to join in on the 'fun' of getting to Hell and beating the R7. Never in any season have I kept any items from people that joined in on quests, bosses, dungeons or whatever you'd like to call them. Everything has been devided over people that joined in, in order for us to have the biggest chance to finish the server for once.

None of the oldschool players you claim to know care about being the first in finishing feats, because as you said we've done them all before. All we care about is having fun and finishing the storyline as much as possible. Nobody has to follow 'our rules', everyone is free to play however they feel like playing, we never locked anyone out of any content. Anyone that wants to join us in beating the endgame has always been welcome, because as you said you NEED a team to finish it. The bigger the better, so why would we ever care about chasing people away from the server?

But hey, if you want to take his word and miss out on the fun I guess that's fine too. But don't take the bullshit about not being able to progress unless you swallow the bitter pill any of us force on you. We don't, we don't care about domination, this is no PVP oriented server to us so why would we. You either have no idea who any of us are, or you confuse us with other teams that played the server. Either way, none of us can relate to any of these accusations.

If anyone feels the need to talk about this because they're concerned, or ever need any help you can always reach out to me ingame: Cant Heal Stupidity.

As someone who is part of "the older players" (I started playing late season 2), I agree that older players have an advantage over newer players. But this is the case for all OT servers. If I play a real tibia map server, I will be at a severe disadvantage because I simply don't know the map and others know every inch.

I strongly disagree about your accusations that we "force" people to "play by our rules" or "give us items". In fact, as far as I know, we've often helped new players through the early/midgame dungeons. I can't even begin to count how many times I myself have organised boss runs for newer players because they didn't have the team to progress (back when many of them were still required), and unless we are looking for a very specific reward from a dungeon, the newer players are given the majority of the loot. As Mich pointed out, we could use all the help we can get. It's in our own best interest to help people progress. But that doesn't mean I'm obligated to hold anyone's hand all the way to the end, or share every single secret of the server that we spent days figuring out ourselves.

I also think it's unfair not to mention that most of us worked our butts off to get this far. The amount of hours we spent dying over and over on certain bosses, getting our levels back, grinding enough gold to rebuy blessings, working together until we came up with the right strategies,
Drawing up battle plans in MS paint... We have the advantage because we worked for it. Hard.

If you had said that there's a group of experienced players that dominate the early/mid game progression, and that this is bad for the server as a whole, I would agree with you. But to portait us as evil power abusers that force people to pay us and play by our rules, is just not true.

Feel free to PM/call me on discord, I would genuinely love to have a good-faith discussion on what we did to give you such a hostile opinion of us.

Just adding to what Mitch and Ferrados said, I'm part of the "older players" and I don't know half of the secrets other older players do, because I want to figure it out myself. I do know a few boss mechanics but that's because we died over and over again, and, alas, this is no secret for anyone, because we actually want to KILL them, not have you die while fighting them lol

The server is about exploring and understanding the story, not mindless grinding like all the other OTs you can see on this website. OFC there is grinding, after all is tibia, but the level of exploring, adventure, immersion, story, only this server has.

I regret not playing on this project after i read so much on the website, for sure i will play. Website properly made with tones of informations to read about
But this one
90% of the main feature of the server is based in team work and most of these dudes that played since the first season, does know 100% of the game secrets, and newcommers will ALWAYS be a step back
I don't know what's your problem? New players (solo or team) should never be ahead of coordinated team (or at the same content) who spent a lot of time lol. If you want this concept you can join servers with full donation shop having end game items/non obtainable items so newcomer can beat you easily. Doesn't matter what kind of game genres we are talking about.
