.gif instead of .pic

My idea:

To have an animated picture in the client. So for instance, look at other games where you see an almost trailer like animation behind it.

Is there a way inwhich i can edit the sources to read a .gif file or w,e other than the tibia.pic ?? (basically yes/no and how?)

And don't flame saying "its shit idea etc, will look shit"

Because i don't intend to have tibia shown, i am going to make a trailer in adobe and have it play in background with music for the title screen.

Not unless you have the client sources. Which to my knowledge haven't been leaked.

Hmmm so there is no way to edit? not in hex? :/ hmm Is there a way in which you can make a script to over-ride it?
