I was mapping with RME, and then I changed editor to Sim0ne becouse the house editor is better there. And when I saved the map and added it into the server I got this debug while starting it. What's wrong?

You're using a different items.otb at your ot and your mapeditor, try using the same one.[/QUOTE

I was useing RME 8.22, and sim0ne 8.20 or w/e. So I thoght there would be no diffrent. Because the only thing I changed with Sim0ne was the houses. The house editor is much better. Otherwise, can you explain how I shall change it without going back to my old copy with no houses. ( I just added 100 houses, and I don't mean to map them, I mean that I just made it possible to buy them etc. It took all morning).. And It would suck to do it once again.

I doubt the houses will be ruined when changing the items.otb, this is simply for the mapeditor respectively your ot to be able to read the items properly.

So I'd recommend you to copy the items.otb from your data/items/ folder and paste it in the mapeditor folder (replace the old one).

I just did, but when I open my map editor it says "You will have to download a newer version of items.otb"

And still the same debug when I try to start the ot.

Regards, Holman.

Try taking the items.otb from your RME mapeditor (from the correct folder, 820 if you're mapping for a 8.20+ client etc) and pasting it into your ot and simones mapeditor (make backups - obviously).

Still getting the same debug.. Starting to get really annoyed of this problem. Becuse I've made a verry detailed map on 10mb~, wich I was going to start hosting today. All that was left where the houses. And guess what, I changed them and the whole server got up-side-down!

Currently useing: http://otland.net/f18/8-2-8-21-forgotten-server-0-2-13-rev-1000-modified-gesior-9447/ (distros)

Yeah, try downloading the items.otb from the regular TFS as I had the same issue with that distro a while ago, and it worked with regular TFS items.otb. Or well I changed to regular TFS, but I think it might be enough with just the items.otb.
