help friend cant log on

my friend can log on to my new server. it is 8.0 and i can get on and make myself god and everything but my friend cannot log on i have tried reinstalling clients changing ips but they still cant log into the account manager. i have given them the right account name and passwords but they still cant so if andyone could help me out plz quote or msg me thanks
