Windows Help me !! localhost

How can i look up the localhost/phpmyadmin username ?? cause it dont work with root ...

yes , mysql is running, honestly i dont know what the problem is ? :S i can log in on my phpmyadmin now . but now it comes up

Well when i used 1.7.1 it didnt work for me.. well now when im using 1.6.6a it does work perfectly..

well i dont know exactly why its like that.. for me it didnt work so i downloaded 1.6.6a and then it worked..
