Windows Help me please mapeditor problem!

My problem is that some servers that i download is 8.54 ( it stand so i the description and like the comments and all but when i try to use the remere map editor (8.54) it stand please navigate to 8.50 folder . AND YES i have tryed to locate to 8.54 folder but then it just fails and tell me that i should locate to 8.50 again. PLEASE HELP!!
