Houses problem!

In my ot I can only build 255 houses, I wonder why? When I put door ID over 255 it doesnt work more, it says only between 1-255. Im using simeOnes map editor, any idea?

why do you set id's on houses? you just need to select the exit, and mark the house.... no id's is needed...
