How hard to make "Pokemon Online"?

How hard and what would be required to make an ot with a similiar concept to "Pokemon Online" ??

I ask because I don't see anything else like it which makes me assume it's very very hard to do?

I have an awesome idea that would require almost identical amount of change like Pokemon Online for it to work, how hard is it though?

one thing is sure , you cant be alone xd. i think its very very hard

Take this, its hard.
Hours of scripting, spriting, mapping etc.
And that using a team multiple scripters/mappers/spriters.
