Ive been trying to set up an 8.6 Server for weeks now. I have no luck, nor knowledge of doing this. Im sure people have seen my posts for help, im at my wits end of this now so im asking who will personally set this up for me through team viewer.

Yes i know check forums, ive been reading forums for weeks now but they aren't much help when you have no clue on what anything is referring to or talking about. Please dont respond with tutorials or check forums, i have done my research and this isnt my area of expertise ive come to the conclusion.

Looking for :
- 8.6 Server
- Dont care about map
- Nothing crazy

My PC :
-32 Bit
-Windows 7

Please someone PM me or respond, just need to know how much money.
Thanks in advance i truly appreciate the help!

If you aren't savy enough to track down the information to host, edit, compile or trouble shoot a server then you aren't ready to host one.

I don't agree. Some of the steps can be really tricky and painful to deal with, specially when you're totally new to these things it can be really difficult without proper guidance(Although Znotes vid tutorial is really great it doesn't cover everything).
Seeing someone else do it through teamviewer can be a great lesson.

I remember having big difficulties compiling for the first time. I made sure that I was following all the steps correctly & yet couldn't get it to work.
It took me weeks of struggle just to realize the sources I downloaded had buggy code and there was nothing about it on the forums.
I only found out by trying everything I could think of and repeating all the steps, downloaded everything again from different sources & deleted the old files.
I beleive most people aren't so stubborn to get something to work that they'll go through trial & error at the first step for days/weeks.
I'd rather help someone at the first step out and hopefully bring more life into this dying community than the other way around.

As I stated above then they aren't ready to host a server..

Building anything whether its a small to big map, writing a tiny script to a complex system, or just printing numbers that count to 10 on screen takes a bit of trial and error, perseverance is what makes a product great, not throwing $$ at it.

This person says they looked for weeks, I highly doubt that, they know enough of what kind of server they are looking to host yet they don't know where to start.

There are thousands of threads on these forums containing useful information regarding setting up a server, some that are even stickied.

I'd rather help someone at the first step out and hopefully bring more life into this dying community than the other way around.
Here is a reason why you might think this community is dying is because people don't do anything themselves and anything they do themselves a big chunk of them don't share what they have made.

@topic
A reasonable question would have been:
Hey guys I want to host an 8.6 server, what tools do I need to get started?

And then we could have pointed you in the right direction, but stating you have searched for weeks and found nothing means you haven't searched at all.
