Im new to this, i have played ots and have great ideas for my own. I am very determined to make one and wont give up until i make it. On that note, would anyone please explain how to change the version that the ot server works with? Thanks in advance.

You cant change it by using something like config.lua
But you can try downloading the next or newer version of the OT that you're using.

Also you can try The Forgotten Server, at least for me is the best SQL server to download and stable.

If you want to try the newest version of TFS it's here but it's the alpha 2 version.
