Welcome to my next tutorial.
This time I will explain you in steps how to make a simple old world map paper from the begin to the end! I used PS3 if anyone wants to know.
Step 1. Ok, start with a new document, the size should be 700 x 500 px.
Step 2. Now open actions by going to -> window -> Actions (or just alt+F9)
Step 3. follow this:
1. Left click on the arrow
2. Click Textures
3. Select Parchment paper
4. Click on play and it will automaticly send you to a texture filter.
Step 4. When you're here make sure you change the settings as below.
Step 6. Go to filter -> blur -> gaussian blur -> and change it to 1,0 pixels
Step 7. Now duplicate the layer, and go to image -> apply image and change the blending to color burn and opacity: 40% then click on OK.
Step 8. Change the layer to overlay and merge the two layers.
Step 9. Go to layer -> layer style -> Inner shadow And the settings as below:
Step 10. Take the eraser tool with a hard bursh and remove some of the egde like this also some in the middle:
Now take this picture or if you prefer a tibia map:

Change the blending to color burn and cut the things you have outside with the rectangular marquee tool with 20 feather to get a soft egde.
And now you're finished! But you can always change other settings to get other effects and you can use the burn tool to for this.
