Go into your items.xml and find

		<attribute key="weaponType" value="distance"/>
		<attribute key="shootType" value="spear"/>
		<attribute key="range" value="5"/>
		<attribute key="breakChance" value="3"/>
		<attribute key="ammoAction" value="moveback"/>
	</item>

Then change breakChance to "0"
