Ideas about my server

Hello OTLand.

Its time for me to host once again. I've been inactive for a longtime now. And decided to start a server with alot of new features, I'll do something different from the other server not keep the same Standard Real-map. I know its like thousands of real-maps out there. I've been editing the server for a while now and have 2 detailed custom cities. But still not ready to host.

So do you have any ideas to make a real-map good Then please write here! I'm doing my best.


I even need some team mates to help me out. I'll take care of hosting / website.

I know its alot of real-maps out there. But the thing is, All are same "Standard" thing!

When you step out of the standard shadows your real map server acctually might become really cool

Are you planning to use protocol 8.60?

RL will be always the same, maybe if you use 9.6+ protocal things can change ( warzones, new outfits / monster etc. )

@ Ninja - Yes it will be 8.6 protocol. But I'll hire gamemasters to take care of botting etc.

@ Raggaer - I know what you mean with that. And i agree with you. But im trying to make something different. Not the standard shit like 2000 other servers have!.

If you don't want botters, then atleast do not make the 8.6 client. So you want to make a server with custom cities, with some cipsoft huntspots linked towards it? Meaning there is no edron for example, but you are able to hunt dragons/wyvern/demons/etc. on the same cipsoft huntspot?

@Sentielo - I'll think about the protocol. Maybe use some other one. but will see. I'll use all cities included new cities. Im trying to make new missions that you can do for different levels. And much more. We are working on it right now Right now we are looking for an experienced mapper. With alot of ideas

Only thing that would make me start on this realmap is if you're making another big quest like INQ.
Not a quest done in 10 mins, i mean with maybe 4 bosses.

And you have to have few tactics to complete it, maybe like it does waves and you gotta mwall it else it summons really much monsters or just something that would make it more customized.

And maybe the reward would be the god weapons, like in realtibia. Dark trinity mace is like 51 attack, and maybe here you could make it 55, the sword 56, and axe 57. But mace should have higher defense then both sword and axe, and sword is balanced in def, and axe with bad def.

Maybe you could customize Life rings/Rings of healing/Rainbow shield to actually do something, like 2-3x faster then realtibia.
And if your ot is going to be a High-exp ot, when you often reach level 300+. Then you should higher hitpoints of Ferumbras,Morgaroth,Ghazbaran,Orshabaal. And maybe add like 20% more damage to the bosses.

Also add daily quests, like warzones but a customized one in 8.6. Maybe 5 warzones, For different levels. 1th warzone for lvl 100. 2th for lvl 200, 3th or 300, 4th for 400, 5th for 500.

So there's actually some endgame stuffs to do, when you've reacht level 400+. Won't be fun to hunt demons/grim reapers or whatever they hunt without this.
Also add new raids like Zoralurk, Apocalypse. But don't make them to hard!
