Incoming Pings in my server.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to block incoming ping spams (which leads in making my server lagg). Today on my server, some guys, sent junk by pinging my server with purpose in order to make it lagg. Is there a solution to this dilema?

goto: Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Properties(from your local connection) -> Advanced -> (Windows Firewall) Settings -> Advanced -> ICMP settings -> uncheck - Allow incomming echo request (

Setup some good rules in your firewall to prevent ICMP/PING floods instead of disabling it.

Thank you Otex I'll try that until I find a way to block them in the firewall.

Otex, the tick appears in grey, I am unable to tick it , what could that depend on?
