ok i kno i sound stupid but my pc vista has soo much trouble using msql idc what u say its always gonig to be this way
many people are having problems wit msql dont leave messages saying its so easy orr stop complaining ,
simply im askinn if some1 can make a

8.3 or 8.31 server using XML exe

or just XML

i would like to run my server on a XML i have a professionaly made map that needs use

can someone make a XML exe for 8.3 please and thanks

Because XML is old and ineffective. There's lots of great tutorials for setting up a mysql server. It's really not that hard.

well i download xaamp went threw all the steps , got to the point where i did everyyyythiing posssible but no character name showed up i tryed everything, and i have windows vista if it has anything todo with it

is ther another way?

You mean there are no players in database?

Go to config.lua set sqlType to mysql, fill in your phpmyadmin user, password and database.

Its not impossible to make an 8.31 XML Server.
The thing is, no one is gonna do it,
and it would be really, really hard.

Plus SQL is and always will be updated!
