So I got this .exe file from a friend of mine, And he says it's a modified TFS 0.3.6. But the thing is, he tells me to turn off my firewall and my Microsoft Security Essentials in order to start the server. Is that true, or is it just some bullshit? Since I cant start it without turning everything off and I have never encountered this before, any ideas?

Sometimes ur firewall/antivrus blocks ur exe, thats why. but sometimes it dont. You can just allow it in firewall and in ur antivrus if it asks to. (some antiviruses detects it as a virus and removes it)

My virus program said it was some sort of a Worm, so I searched it up and found out it was something that tried to steal "sensitive information" from my computer. And when I told him about it, he logged out from skype faster then a jetplane LOL
