Solved libmysqlclient.so.18: cannot open shared object file

Good morning everyone! I'm trying to open an application that uses Mysql to connect to the LAMPP database (phpmyadmin), but when trying to do so I run into the following error:


$ ./tfs
./tfs: error while loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.18: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


Does anyone know anything that can help? Thanks.

why are you using lampp? follow this guide and you shouldn't have any problem:

Probably you don't have libmysql package
try out
apt-get install libmysql-dev
or
apt-get install default-libmysqlclient-dev
