Hi,
I'm going to start working again after 2 year hiatus on my fork of TheForgottenTibia project
( The Forgotten Tibia (no vocations, new skills, skills by points, dual wield, auto loot, quiver, etc) (https://otland.net/threads/the-forgotten-tibia-no-vocations-new-skills-skills-by-points-dual-wield-auto-loot-quiver-etc.263018/) )
My fork hasn't been made public yet - potentially will be at some point, when its decent enough or close enough to completion.
Its been heavily fixed, and modified from whats available on Togu's repo in link above.
(This is non-profit hobby project, i don't plan to monetize at all if I put it out for everyone to enjoy.)
If your work is really good, and you think you should be paid - hit me up we may come to agreement, and i can also show you how it looks like from client side - it looks better than in screenshots, as the editor doesn't do justice.
If you want to help as a mapper:
I'm using youtots map that I have been working to modernize, and build it up. I'm bit old school so i'm using OTMapEditor; As long as you edit the map in a way that doesn't kill my editor ability to open the map its fine to use rme or anything out there.
(post 2 will include screenshots of map)
If you prefer you can submit bits of your map that I could use.
If you want to help as a programmer and/or scripter:
There are multiple features i remember seeing (like some in old chasm server), and some that never been seen before that i would want to pull in; The work would be to change modify, write new code to make it reality, and make this game server playable. Whether single or multiplayer (would be nice if we could get npc's walk around and level as well... I have beefy servers so we could do some ML if one wanted to play with that.
There's a lot of work to do.
I pretty much nuked everything in original fork, as there was a lot of mistakes especially in how skills scaled not and reflected in formulas; as well as moved to new map.
