I notice that we have CODE, HTML, and PHP tag buttons when making a post, why don't we have one for LUA? I get annoyed by typing it all out.

Because as far as I know, there is no affordable way to add one. It can't be done via plugins to vBulletin and we don't want to modify the files (dirty way) and lose it with next update.
That's why.
