Modern Task System (Tabs, Cooldowns, Dynamic Rewards) - [TFS 1.x / OTC]

Hello OtLand community.

I decided to share this Modern Task System because I noticed many servers still use outdated or hard-to-configure task systems. This release aims to provide a plug-and-play solution that works flawlessly.

Note: Please feel free to provide feedback, criticism, or improvements to the script. I am a self-taught hobbyist developer and I am always looking to learn and improve.

Hey
Thanks for the script, it looks like it works really well. I just started testing it, but so far I have a good feeling about it

I ran into one problem while installing it, so I decided to share the solution here. Maybe someone else will have the same issue. Testing on TFS 1.4.2 and OTClient 3.5.

In OTClient I was getting a broken / incomplete window, and clicking any button did nothing (task counting didn’t start at all).

In the client logs I noticed this error:

Code:
ERROR: Lua exception: /game_modern_tasks/modern_tasks.lua:132: attempt to call method 'setFixedCreatureSize' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
    [C]: in function 'setFixedCreatureSize'
    /game_modern_tasks/modern_tasks.lua:132: in function 'refreshUI'
    /game_modern_tasks/modern_tasks.lua:92: in function 'selectCategory'
    /game_modern_tasks/modern_tasks.otui:113: [@onClick]:2: in function </game_modern_tasks/modern_tasks.otui:113: [@onClick]:1>

What fixed it for me was commenting out line 132: creature:setFixedCreatureSize(true))

LUA:
-- modern_tasks.lua

                if t.outfits then
for _, outfit in ipairs(t.outfits) do
                        local creature = g_ui.createWidget('UICreature', mobList)
                        creature:setSize({width = 48, height = 48})
                        -- creature:setFixedCreatureSize(true) // causing errors
                        creature:setOutfit(outfit)
                        creature:setPhantom(true)
                    end
                end
After that, I just restarted the client and everything works fine.

Hope this helps someone :)

I dont uploaded new item in task.lua. What do I wrong?
Best regards

no error. i tried with AI. ai says its perfect script.

I added it in data/lib and run server and got blank window modal task. ;/

Did u register the json?
Any errors in terminal?

I love this so much, I already had a task system so I turned this into an item/supplies bounty system where you turn in items rather than monster kills and it works PERFECTLY.

Quite an interesting system, but I have one question: What are the points earned from tasks used for?

unfortunately the quantity is hidden

Additionally, a quest search engine would be useful, as well as the ability to choose the number of monsters we want to kill.
