Modern Warfare 3 is a copy of Black Ops. They're using the same engine, servers and patches. They're only editing the weapons and map.

Battlefield 3 is the game you have to buy this fall. I know I will.
 
Yes, I know. But they're using the same engine and patches from Black Ops. And that's not good since Black Ops sucked.

The Modern Warfare series are better than the original Call of Duty series (Such as World at War, Black Ops et cetera). Modern Warfare 3 will kick Black Ops' ass.

And Modern Warfare 3 will not use exactly the same engine that Black Ops used. In fact, Modern Warfare 3 will use a newer version of the Black Ops engine.

Call of Duty 2 (2005) - New Engine: IW 2.0
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) New Engine: IW 3.0
Call of Duty: World at War (2008) - Used a modified IW 3.0 engine
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) - New Engine: IW 4.0
Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) - Used a further modified IW 3.0 engine from WaW
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011) - Used a modified IW 4.0 engine called the Modern Warfare 3 engine

First of all, both are very different series. MW3 is based fast paced and mindlessly killing everyone on a small map. Battlefield 3 is based on teamwork, you can get in your friend's vehicles and start killing with your gunner on a huge map.

I prefer teamwork and huge maps.

Totally agree with you.

Modern Warfare 3 for singleplayer.
Battlefield 3 for multiplayer.
 
All I can say is this: Both games will be neat. I might even buy both, but Battlefield 3 is the first purchase for me.

No they are not.

And the talk about Call of Duty isn't teamwork is bullshit. You make it what you want it to be. I use teamwork every second in Call of Duty, maybe not so much in pubs but still we are a full party. In competitive games, such as GameBattles, is all about teamwork
 
Maybe battlefield multiplayer is better, but still cod multiplayer is really good and addictive :3 but gosh the history in modern warfare series is just epic! they get you really into the history and even if they don't use the better or last graphics engines their maps and scenarios are really good :) personally I prefer COD.

My computer is just fucked up now can't even play Tibia (Some shit with my graphic card) but if I get a new one, I'll be buying both games. (I do not own a 360 or ps3 :( but maybe I'll get mwf3 for Wii :[. )
 
People should stop this war between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. I'll buy both, enjoy both and play the shit out of both.
 
I can't decided which one I want to buy :/ Only got enough for one of them.
 
They're both great games. I can't wait to sit with my headset on, in vent and just fucking play, play and play!
