ModernAAC does not read Plain type passwords?

Change plain to sha1 and it will update your database so the passwords are ecrypted or how it spells xD

That's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to get ModernAAC to read plain passwords..

Any way to configure it accordingly though? Since I've gone though all the troubles of removing sha1 encryption requirements for the tfs console <,<

Really, Sha1 is useless for encrypting PWs in the database, since if somebody has access to your database, you're really fucked already. They can just insert a God char into the game, and go mess around..

It is to protect the passwords of your players, not to protect your database. Your obiously missing the point.

Terrible guess. My system has been buggy with sha1 encryption, and wouldn't let me log-in to my server with plain passwords, so I fixed in the source salting, and the requirement for sha1 encryption in TFS, so now plain passwords work perfecto in my server.

Anyway, I didn't ask for your jackassery, or assumptions, I posted here for support. So Feloth, please stay out if you're not going to be of any help.

Can't blame me, you never provided such information earlier. Do I look like a mindreader?
If you want support, then you should try solve your TFS password issue. Modern AAC is not the problem here, your server is.

That is not my problem. I'm asking support on if it's possible to enable plain passwords to be read in Modern, instead of only sha1 encryption.

it's easy, if you don't get used to sha1 then use gesior aac

Yes, and it's said that there is no such supported function unless you re-program your Modern AAC engine.
Then i'm telling you that you should try find a better solution for you server, I hardly call that trolling.
