I've taken sprites from web and edited them, so I take credits only for the modifications and credits to the original owners of the base sprites I used.

Its hard to comment on what you actually did to the sprites since we dont see the original.
my suggestion is that you start a thread "Progenosis Gallery" or smth like that and start showing us some originals. In that way we can help you progress in the world of pixels
