i have recently downloaded the forgotten server and set it all up and then when i try to make my character it says this

"That name seems to contain invalid symbols tell me another name."

no matter what name i put it says that.

and i try to use a shemas file for mysql server and the same thing happens


so now i just got the naxed 8.54 server and import the mysql file to phpmyadmin and whenever i try to get on to make an account it says this

"count establidh connection to sql database!

Try a capital letter. ex: The Wiseguy, Todd, Immortal, Crazed Slave. Something like that.

thanks that works but now i cant get god. i dont know how to use sql i use mysql so im really confused right now on it.

What you said make no sense. But they way you do it is. Create your character in game. Go into your db with your phpmyadmin/localhost find accounts. Goto your and click the edit button. Change the group to 5. Then go to players and do the same but this time your looking for access not group. Should be 5 that you need to change it to all tho it may be diferent. To find out go into your server and look at your data/xml/groups.xml And it will show you all the different groups. Or do trial and error. Keep changing the integer until you come up with the result your looking for.
