Need help fixing freezes

My tibia client keeps freezing every other second. I'm running windows 7 and my laptop is only a year old. It happens on all versions of tibia. I tried updating my drivers and that didn't help. I also tried closing all other programs and cleaning my registry, neither helped.

I'm thinking of taking it to a computer repair guy and having him wipe my system and re-install windows 7.

Suggestions?

Ha try blowing out your laptop with air, sometimes it is just getting hot, and needs blown out as a cleanning.
