Need help whit xampp

I got some problems whit xampp..

this is the problem :

when i start up xampp controll panel only Mysql is running, not apache.
and when i try to start apache i get this : ERROR: Apache service not started [-1]
i have unninstaled it and installed manny times, but no success
The error i get when i try to install is this : Port 80 or 443 (SSL) Alreaddy in use! installing Apache2.2 failed!

Pls some one help me out :/

I have the same problem and I don't know what's wrong ...but if I find out I'll tell ya:thumbup:

I know what the problem is, if you are using Windows Vista.
I did this and it worked:

First of all uninstall Xampp and deactivate UAC (User Account Control)

1. Open msconfig, Start -> Type "run" in start search -> type "msconfig" and hit Enter

2. Go to tools and find Disable UAC, mark it and press on the Launch button.

3. Install Xampp and it should work. :thumbup:

(If it still doesn't work for you, try reboot your computer and it should work).

If you are using Windows XP then I don't know how to fix the problem.
