Need help with a problem I come across alot

Ok so right now I have my client 8.42 installed and I am trying to get on a 8.42 server but when I go to get on after putting in my account # and password it says "Client protocol 8.42 needed."

are you sure both ur server is 842 and tibiaclient is 842? try double check if you havent

I believe they are the same Im sure i changed the client to match the servers

Make sure the little box just under "Port" is clicked too "8.42" or "Auto" Box.
