Hi! I'm currently attempting to host TFS (Crying Damson) 0.3.5. I have my WAN IP set in the config.lua and everything.
I use a no-ip address. And it works great! Until my ISP switches IP's on me. Then no one is able to log on to my server, even though no-ip detected the change and switched IP's automatically.
I'm assuming it's because the old WAN IP is still in the config.lua. My IP's change quite often and I'm not home nearly enough to change the IP in the config.lua. Nor do I have the cash to spend 80 dollars a month for a static IP. (The prices of those are insane through my ISP...)
I've tried setting my "no-ip address" in the config.lua, but my friend was only able to get to the character list. She was not able to log in. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm quite experienced in networking and have been hosting servers since the first OT's came out. So feel free to use technical language if needed.

Thanks ^_^

in your config put your no-ip address

example: archangel.no-ip.biz
problem solved lol..no-ip does the work with the ip changing..i forgot if you get a kick still or not but they will be able to connect right away guaranteed.

rep if i helped plx :D

Well. I tried putting my no-ip address in the config, but it didn't seem to work. Like I said, my friend could only get to her character login screen. It wouldn't let her login. Weird, eh? I wish someone would develop something that would automatically detect the global IP and change it in the config as needed. But one can only dream...
